Alpine plant-pollinator community changes on the Beartooth Plateau, MT/WY
A multi-year study I did as part of my graduate research. The study centers around the resurveying of plant-pollinator community characteristics that were originally taken 40+ years ago. Additionally, we investigated network dynamics, diel patterns, fruiting success, and the effects of climate change on the community.

A new exclosure design for pollination ecology
We built an exlosure that was cheap, could withstand the weather conditions in the alpine zone, easy to set up, and efficacious in preventing insects from pollinating.

Photopoint monitoring in the Adirondack High Peaks, NY
I spent a summer working for the Adirondack Mountain Club, taking new oblique photos and taking new baseline plant population photos using new transect methods.

Alpine pollinator guilds in the Adirondack High Peaks
A first foray into research of the pollinators in the High Peaks. As New York State’s rarest ecosystem, and with little known about its pollinators, this study was an important stepping stone for future efforts in this area.
